Villanova University has embarked on a 10-year strategic plan, Rooted. Restless., with the goal of enhancing the Augustinian Catholic living and learning experience for all members of our community. University Advancement is seeking exceptional talent to join our mission-driven team working together toward our shared vision for Villanova, fueled by the generosity of the University's philanthropic supporters as we "keep moving" in the spirit of St. Augustine in the public phase of Villanova's comprehensive capital campaign: Espiritus Nova. The Research Analyst will report to the Associate Director of Prospect Research and serve as a key member of the Prospect Development (PD) team within University Advancement. The Research Analyst will play a critical role in identifying and analyzing individual prospects, foundations, and corporations, while also delivering insights that inform cultivation strategy. They will align and leverage data from the department's internal reporting systems (Cognos and Salesforce), our department database (Banner), as well as online resources in support of our fundraising initiatives with emphasis on day-to-day prospect research efforts including, but not limited to, wealth screenings and other proactive research projects. A leading contributor to the growth of the prospect pool, the incumbent will conduct strategic research and analysis to identify new leadership and major gift prospects in addition to compiling information on existing donors in support of various fundraising activities. The Research Analyst will be part of a dynamic PD team working closely with all team members as we continue our historic $1.25B capital campaign. The incumbent will bring a high degree of professionalism to facilitate the achievement of University Advancement goals and have a willingness to be a contributing member of the Villanova Community.
