Investment Analyst (Ukraine & Global Markets)
Requirements
Main requirements:
- Preparation of analytical products: weekly or note on Ukrainian macro, analysis of Ukrainian economic sectors and Ukrainian fixed income issuers.
- Development of investment ideas together with a trader: formation of recommendations (long/short), scenario analysis, risk factors.
- Tracking the background of S&P news: monitoring corporate events (reports, M&A, dividend policy), US macroeconomic indicators, Fed decisions, geopolitical factors.
- Issuer analysis: Comparative analysis with competitors, assessment of investment attractiveness. Multipliers (P/E, EV/EBITDA, P/B, etc.)
Professional requirements
Education:
Higher degree in economics, finance, mathematics or related disciplines.
FA level is not required.
Experience:
- 2-4 years in investment banks, brokerage companies, funds or consulting.
- Practical experience in writing analytical materials or presentations for investors.
Knowledge and skills:
- Deep understanding of the macroeconomics of Ukraine and the government/corporate bond market
- Knowledge of international capital markets, the US stock market,
- Knowledge of financial models: DCF, comparative analysis, multipliers.
- Ability to interpret macro data, issuer reporting, Bloomberg data.
- Skills in writing concise, structured analytical texts (from short notes to detailed reviews).
- Fluent English (reading/analyzing reports, news feeds, communication).
Personal qualities:
- High level of analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Experience in public speaking
- Ability to quickly process large amounts of information and highlight key factors
- Initiative, ability to form investment ideas
- Ability to work under deadlines and quickly respond to news
